Don't forget your manners...

It's everyone's job to help create a great dining experience. Below you'll find a few dining table rules that guests are expected to follow to make sure everyone feels comfortable and has a good time.
Using Names & Pronouns
At the start of every meal guests will be invited to introduce themselves and share their name(s) and the pronoun(s) they use. Guests are expected to use these when speaking with each other during the meal. Guests who don't respect other diners or the host may be asked to leave and won't be invited to participate in future meals.
Taking Photos
Although it's a social space, remember to ask for permission before taking a photo of any other guests. Selfie sticks welcome for as many pics of yourself as you'd like!
Staying In Touch With New Friends
Queers for dinner is about connecting like-minded people with a mutual love of good food and good conversation. Hopefully, during your meal you'll make some new friends and want to keep in touch. Guest are free to exchange contact info with each other; if you want to share your details, or ask another diner for their contact please remember to be respectful.
Hold the Phone
To enjoy the meal and other guests, we ask that you put your phone on silent or vibrate. If you need to take a call, feel free to step away from the table and join us again when you're finished.
Enjoy Responsibly
Guests who decide to enjoy alcoholic beverages at a meal are expected to do so responsibly. If a guest's behaviour becomes disrespectful or unsafe they may be asked to leave and won't be invited to participate in future meals. If you have any questions or concerns about alcohol being served at a Queers for Dinner event please feel free to contact us at [email protected]
